Activities

Several groups call St. Clement’s home. Here are some ways to get involved with our community:

Adoration Boston

St. Clement Eucharistic Shrine is the designated Eucharistic Shrine for the Archdiocese of Boston, and we are proud and thankful to host perpetual adoration since August 2009.

On weekdays during the academic year, the Oblates of the Virgin Mary and their seminarians pray Morning Prayer and also hold a daily holy hour in the afternoon including recitation of the Rosary and Evening Prayer.

Please consider whether the Lord is calling you to spend 1 hour with Him per week! To sign up, please email: AdorationBoston@gmail.com.

St. Clement’s Young Adults

This group meets Mondays at 7pm (in the front parlor) to listen to the readings of the Mass and discuss how to apply the message in daily life. Some of the insights are truly inspiring! Come as often as you choose. There is no commitment. All young adults are invited!

Please refer to the group website and the Yahoo group mailing list to stay in touch.

Pure in Heart

This young adult group proclaims the virtue of chastity and the sanctity of human life around the world. They meet on Thursday nights, usually for Mass, the Rosary, and a talk with time for sharing and questions.

Refer to their website at www.pureinheartamerica.org and contact the leadership team directly at info@pureinheartamerica.org.

Music at the Shrine

We are looking for volunteers with any level of singing experience to join a choir that will provide music for worship at the 8pm Mass every Sunday. The choir will focus on traditional music in the Christian tradition from all periods. We will rehearse Tuesday nights 7-9pm at St. Clement and have a warm-up before the mass.

Also, volunteer singers are most welcome to join the 11am Mass cantor to lead hymns.

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the Choir Director, Brett Kostrzewski (refer to a recent bulletin).

Proceed to the Music Ministry Page.

The Legion of Mary, Sancta Maria Praesidium

The Legion of Mary is a worldwide organization of Lay Catholics with members in 160 countries. It is the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Apostolate of prayer and love in action.

The Sancta Maria group meets on Thursdays at 6:00pm (in the front parlor), to pray Legion prayers, Holy Rosary and members are assigned weekly Apostolic work with the conviction that Mary accompanies them.

The group’s mission and frequently asked questions may be found at the website www.newenglandlegionofmary.org
